Also if you're unfamiliar with it, Da Qing and Ye Zun are playing the Mid-Autumn Festival Dice Game. It's played by throwing 6 dice in a bowl and getting a prize depending on the combination of the numbers. Mooncakes are the traditional prizes but when we play in the Philippines we get other snacks, sweets, and even groceries. I've experienced it twice (or thrice) and it was fun.

The Chef

An art for my official Guardianversary! Noodles in the coffee is Zhao Yunlan’s specialty in the novel. Sadly, not all family members agree

The composition idea is from one of my many many insta reels references with cats lol

I wanted to write “kiss the cook” with the intentional mistake in the word “cook” on the apron, but decided I want a decent drawing. But I can totally imagine Zhao Yunlan buying such kitchen attribute and making Shen Wei wear it. And wiggle his eyebrows every time he sees it
